How is assistance granted?
Every request is welcomed with respect and carefully reviewed. The assistance offered depends on the assessment of the situation, available resources, the area served, our internal criteria and the capacity of our volunteers. A request is therefore not an automatic guarantee of assistance.
When needs exceed our scope of intervention, we can direct people to appropriate community resources or professional services. To make a request: fill out the online form or call us. A volunteer will contact you for a confidential meeting and a needs assessment.
Emergency situation
Our services are not an emergency service. In case of immediate danger to you or your loved ones, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call 988 (crisis helpline).
